Insomnia Theater

I got about 4 hours of actual sleep. So what did I do upon waking after valiantly failing to go back to slep? Fired up Netflix and watched the sweetest little indie film "The Giant Mechanical Man" starring Jenna Fischer (Pam!) and my new boyfriend Chris "I'm in Everything" Messina.  It is a film about two people who are trying to find their way in life in their 30's and are not in step with the people around them. It was like a giant flashing neon sign to me.  They both have a recurring dream where their teeth fallout. Any one that has ever felt lost and anxious about where their life is headed has had that dream, it is one of the most disturbing machinations of the mind and seeing it on screen was equally horrifying.   These two have great

The cast is rounded out by Malin Ackerman, Rich Sommer and Topher Grace. What happened to Topher Grace? I thought he'd be bigger by now. But back to my love for Chris Messina, I feel like he's in all the movies and TV shows these days, right? My love for him goes back to Ira & Abby, which stars Jennifer Westfeldt.  His only rival for my viewing affection is Mark Duplass who is also in everything these days, (I had no idea he was also in Zero Dark Thirty, really need to see that film). Now that The Office is over I hope to see a lot more of Jenna Fischer on the big screen she's really great and her eyes are super expressive, watch her in "A Little Help" and you'll see what I mean.
