An Incredible Week!

This week we saw the inauguration of the first African-American President of the United States Barack Obama. I've made no secret of my enthusiasm for Obama and so when I had the chance to go to D.C. for the inauguration, I jumped on the opportunity. No, I didn't have a ticket or anything and I wasn't going for the parties. Nonetheless being on The Mall, watching the it all on the jumbotron was amazing. Before the ceremony began they showed some of the "We Are One" concert from the weekend. It was great because so many people sang along to the songs and we all seemed to know them though we all seemed to come from varying backgrounds. Now, I'm not going to say that we are living in a post-racial world but it was a very good moment.
