Internet Backlash
I've been meaning to write about this for a couple of weeks but life happened.
So a friend, who shall remain nameless, was going to set-up a date with a guy that she met online. She did her best not to Google him, but out of curiosity decided to look him up on Facebook. Innocent enough right? WRONG!!!!!!
What she found was something that was at once hilarious and also cringe-worthy. There was no profile but there was group, created by a couple of women, that basically told other women to stay away from this guy. Now on the one hand I found this to be AMAZING! Since I didn't know the guy and my pal was not really interested we laughed our assess off. But what about the guy? What if none of this is true? What if it all happened 5 years ago and the girl is just still really bitter?
These days we really need to be careful about what we do and see to other people, because there are more resources at their disposal to trash us. I can call someone out on a blog, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and any number of other sites and there is nothing that can be done. Just don't do this.
