Last week I went on a rant about Hollywood not having any new ideas, due to all the remakes of some good and a lot of mediocre films. I stand by it. For example, there's a new rumor that Simon Cowell wants to remake Saturday Night Fever with Zac Efron!!! Porque? I sincerely hope that this is not true. One Efron just turned down the lead role in Footloose cause he was looking to get away from the whole dance thing and well, that movie is all about the dance. And while I could see him pulling off the Footloose role, I just think it'd be awkward with him in that role, poor casting.

So in light of this, I have to admit that a film version of The A-Team, is sorta exciting. Yes, it was a cheesy '80's show about renegade ex-soldiers. But with the right casting it could be awesome. The folks over at EW think that Chewitel Ejiofor would be great as Mr. T. I'm not convinced but who knows, he'd definitely add something. If Liam Neeson is already in, then it could be great.
