Ongoing Battle of the Bulge


It's been a couple of weeks since my first post on getting serious about losing weight. First, I'd like to report as of a minute ago, I am down six pounds (34 to go), HOORAY! More importantly I am beginning to see the changes in my face and I am lifting heavier weights at the gym. The inches are coming off the middle.

Today I got a watch that came with a heart monitor/calorie counter. HUGE MOTIVATION. I definitely pushed myself more just to see the numbers go up. Over the long run I'll (we'll) have to see how long it lasts. But at some point working out 5 days a week has to pay off right?

This is my favorite cardio machine. It will literally have the backs of your hands sweating. It sucks but it is effective.
