September Awakening

So over on this other blog, nycmusings.tumblr.com, this chick talked about "fall renewal" and started things fresh. I totally agree with her, she's brilliant.

All of this make me think that instead of making the requisite New Year's resolution that we never keep, that September is a great time to take the plunge and work on being better you. Yes, it's all touchy feely sounding but you know what I mean.

Which is why I'm throwing myself back into reading Tim Ferris' 4 hour workweek, and why I decided to do another half marathon. It's time for me to get back in the fray. Oh and there's this dating challenge too. Yes, I've said some of these things before but damn it this time I aim to stick to it.

All this to say that I love September. It was four years ago in September that I decided that I needed to make a major life change which ultimately lead to me living in Barcelona. So I know that it brings good things.
