Mixtape Mondays - Pearl Jam edition

Over the last month or so I've come to the realization that some of my favorite albums and bands have reached the 20 year mark. "Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, "August and Everything After" by the Counting Crows, "Nevermind" by Nirvana and "Ten" by Pearl Jam.  Out of these albums I would say that "Ten" is still the most special to me. It's an album that I still want to listen to from beginning to end and still one that I can get lost in, just sitting on my bed and taking in all of the angst, Eddie Vedder's voice and just plain rock out to it any day of the week. While I do not profess to be the biggest Pearl Jam fan ever, I do own a fair amount of their albums and once stayed up really late to tape a live concert off the radio (just saying that makes me feel ancient).

If you want to see more about the band and the last 20 years you can watch "Pearl Jam Twenty", directed by one of the biggest music fans out there Cameron Crowe.

Here are some of my favorites. These are mostly live versions
