Mixtape Mondays: Year End Edition

There are only five days left in the year, so I had to bring you some of my favorite songs of the year. This is not an extensive list, if you want that go here for best songs and albums.  This year I think we could all agree that Adele owned us all and we feel in love with her sad songs. For me the best album of the year was "Camp" by Childish Gambino, I love to see the progression of an artist and his music resonates with me on a personal level that I didn't know that I needed from music. Then there are perennial favorites Beyonce and Britney.  Beyonce gave us a wide range of sounds that were different for her and all were buoyed by her amazing videos, I wasn't immediately taken with "Run the World" but when I'm at the gym and it comes on I push myself a little more. As for Ms. Spears, her album wasn't really anything new but I still loved it, just upbeat and synthesized she really gets me going. The rest of what is on here are the songs that I never skip when they come on shuffle no matter what I am feeling in the moment be they fast or slow.  And of course there is always DJ Earworm's Mashup for 2011, listen and download here.
