I really wanted to make it to the beach yesterday, but when I woke up yesterday it was gray and though the day did turn out sunny and extra warm (read: hot and sweaty) I ended up at the cinema, running errands and then having the ultimate lobster roll and fried clams in a quiet backyard in Greenpoint and capped it all off with a ferry ride across the East River back into Manhattan. And today I find myself sitting in a quieter office and I wanted to hold on to that feeling relaxation while still acknowledging that it is the beginning of a new week.
