Mixtape Mondays - Electronica

We can all agree that last week tested our faith in humanity, our resolve in the face of industrial failures and mother nature. It was a hell of a week in America and we are all happy to be on the other side of it and while the people of Boston and West, Texas, and those along the Mississippi river mourn the loss of love ones, security and their homes today is new week and we are feeling optimistic because that is who we are as Americans.

That said this morning we learned of the passing of Chrissy Amphlett, the lead singer of The Divinyls. I'm choosing to celebrate her life by sharing the video for their breakout hit "I Touch Myself". R.I.P. Chrissy.




Last week I was looking for a new playlist to run to and thought I'd make an EDM playlist. But that just got me thinking about Electronic music that I used to listen to that was less frenetic and Tricky was the jumping off point. While he was never an artist I listened to a lot it led to what I crafted today.
